Music/Music VideoNow.. I know this is a place where we mostly share our favorites however I think this is also a good place to talk about everything wrong with Tygas new “album”. Obviously, ai has no place in music & will (hopefully) never replace actual artists. Tyga trying to pass whatever this mess is off as his own work just shows how lazy of an artist he is. There was zero effort put in to even make it seem like any of the work he actually made. Which, to be fair he’s put out some hits. I just find it astonishing that an entire team of people worked on this, listened to it, and gave it an okay.. I’ve heard some ai songs and while they will always have that ai cadence to them & feel less human, at least some of them made sense. Tyga really just turned the first sentence that popped up in his head into an ai prompt & said okay that’s enough work. I wish we could just ignore this album all together & not give him any attention for it but I truly think the product of this album speaks volumes about AI use in the arts. Cutting corners with AI will never turn out well. Tyga may not take this as a lesson but hopefully other artists won’t try any shit like this.
